2010 International Forum on Chinese Automotive Industry Development (2010IFCAID), which is jointly organized by China Automotive Technology & Research Center, SAE-China, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China Automotive News, and the Administration Commission of Tianjin Economical & Technological Development Area, is scheduled to be held from September 4-6 2010 in Tianjin Binhai New Area. The International Forum on Chinese Automotive Industry Development, known as the Davos in Chinese auto sector, has been successfully held for 5 years. This event has received a great deal of attention in the sector. The government authorities, auto manufacturers, and research institutes both in home and abroad all sent representatives to attend the forum and made brilliant presentations at the forum. Mr. Zhao Hang, the president of China Automotive Technology & Research Center expresses that he hopes to build the forum a platform facilitating the communications among the players in Chinese auto sector and offering proposals and suggestions for the further development of Chinese automotive industry. With the annual theme of Industrial Transformation and Upgrade of Chinese Automotive Industry , 2010 IFCAID covers the subjects like the change of economic development mode and the development of Chinese automotive industry, the strategy of building a powerhouse of automobiles and the development of industry, about the strategic concepts of the national 12th "five-year-development" program for automotive industry, independent innovation and core competitiveness, merger & acquisition and development strategies, problems in auto society and solutions, development of auto parts & components industry, low carbon development and strategic choice of Chinese automotive industry, and energy-saving and the development of alternative fuel powered vehicles etc.. It is estimated that there will be more than 600 representatives from government authorities, auto manufacturers, and relevant research institutes attending the forum this year. They will use this opportunity to share their views on how to build a powerhouse of automobiles. | |||
